The 荣誉 Program affords the opportunity for qualified 学生 to engage in supervised independent study in areas of their interest. The student designs 和 carries out an individual research project under the supervision of a faculty sponsor 和 the 荣誉 Program Committee, culminating in a thesis written APA style 和 a defense of the thesis before the 荣誉 Program Committee. Students attend a research seminar in which research proposals 和 final papers are presented orally.
Eligibility for the 荣誉 Program in 心理学 includes: Completion of PSYC 317, 318W, 和 497; as well as nine additional hours in psychology (PSYC 487 & 488 are not included in these hours); a 3.50 GPA in the psychology major (with no grades of "Incomplete"); 和 a 3.累积绩点25.
